Dax was SPOILED when he went to the doctor's. I don't remember EVER being pampered by a doctor as much as he is. EVERY time he goes he gets a new book and this time he also got a token to get something out of the toy machines in the waiting area AND a gift certificate for a free kids meal at Taco Bell. Lucky Kid.... Dr. Burrows did give him all of this before his shots......Oh those dang shots and the hurt that they caused. Dax didn't remember them and it came quite a shock when that nice young man cause my baby boy to sob. He didn't squirm though, just sobbed and kept saying, "Hurt.....It Hurt...." Oh that broke my heart. Then he started to scream when the nurse put the band-aid on.......All was right in the world again once that band-aid was off. Haha funny kid! The toy machine gave him a little lizard that came in a plastic bubble. When I got it out to give it to him, Dax freaked out and would NOT touch it, no matter how I showed him it wasn't real. But once it was back in it's bubble/cage he played with it, took it out, freaked out again. Put it back, ok to play with.

Dr. Burrows was very impressed with Dax's growth and said everything is right on target. I'm so thankful for a smart, healthy, fun, boy!
