I think we have another Sculptor on our hands

I love how Dax is starting to play with patterns and colors. He's very particular about what color he wears and what he plays and eats with. He's also started using adjectives. Cute, Cool and Pretty are the usual ones.
A week ago he had stuck a sticker to my bum and told me it was cute. Haha!

2-D Design

This semester I had to take 2-D Design which basically is a drawing/painting class without the teaching of techniques. It has been really fun but extremely hard for me because I wanted to learn the technique as well so I would go to class, learn what I had to do, and then would come home and have Jake instruct me in the "how tos" of the elements I wanted to protray in my art pieces. I just finished my last project that had a main theme of Texture but also had to include the other 11 elements we learned about throughout the semester. I'm so happy to be done! In celebration I thought I would share my art pieces of the semester.

Criteria: can only use the assigned color and Black & White and variations of those 3

I had a terrible time with this because my color combo and emotion were so made for each other Ugh!

But I got out of 50 out of 50 on it. Score!

Focal Point- Self Portrait

I decided to go a little abstract with my self portrait Haha it was fun. I'm the Palm tree if you couldn't tell      (I got dalked points because I didn't have a recognizable focal point)

I was going to do something really cool like the song Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean and create ocean waves out of the beats but it was too hard. So I turned on my ipod (which had my workout mix on it) click random and Miley Cyrus's Fly on the Wall came on. So.......that's what I did my assignment on. Haha!
