Did I mention that Jake had decided to do this same climb for his 40th bday? Good thing he told me now so I can start training because it probably will take me 10 years to be ready to do this hike

Ann & Mike
Ann & Mike are my Aunt & Uncle. They are heroes and inspiration. They have traveled everywhere and their latest trip was the ultimate adventure. They climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. With, get this it's amazing, NO ALTITUDE TRAINING! They live at below sea level! AMAZING! But not surprising because they are that awesome.

We have Corn in our Bellies
We made a spur of the moment trip up to visit family and went to Cornbelly's Maze & Pumpkin Fest at Thanksgiving Point. It was SOOOOO much fun! It is especially for kids and Dax was in heaven.
There was so much to SEE & DO!
There were pumpkins
and slides
cool lookin tire swings
More Slides!
Giant! Jumper.....Bubbles!
We rode cows
That were pulled by a nice guy with a tractor
There were trains
EVEN More slides
There was a fantasy playland where all the kids could wear dress ups. Dax tried to dance with all the girls
Instead of a SANDbox, they had a CORNbox
Giant Spider Web
Time to take a rest
The Finale.......Corn Maze
We made the mistake of having a 2 year old decide which way to go and we ended up getting incredibly lost. But after Daddy took over we were out in no time. Total maze time-45 minutes

Lake Powell '10
Lake Powell was amazing this year! Lots of activeness and at the same time a lot of relaxation.
Our crew this year was a lot smaller compared to years previous but still was a blast.

We hiked up Hole in the Rock
The view of Hole in the Rock through another hole in the rock from the Houseboat
View from Hole in the rock through another hole in rock looking AT the houseboat
Roger Dodger
We ate Cheetos with Gpa Roger
We set up an obstacle course while the houseboat was going. You would jump off the houseboat(with a life jacket) swim back to one of the boats, your last chance is the tube in the back. Then you use the ropes to come back to the houseboat. It is wicked hard.
We Wakeboarded, Swam, Kneeboarded, Tubed, and new this year Wake Skating
We made fire using a hand drill
and got blisters from making fire with a hand drill
We played with Uncle Rob
We drove the boat
Went to Dangling Rope and Fed the fishes ice cream and toes
We drove through a lightning thunder storm coming back from Dangling Rope which was pretty scary fun and saw some awesome waterfalls and rainbows
We hiked through some narrows at West Canyon and those pics are on gma Stacy's waterproof camera so those pics will go here.
Everybody took a night to make dinner and on our night we made kabobs. We had all the fixins set out raw and they all put their own together and then Jake cooked them up on the bbq!
Then on our last night we had a Pot Luck. Jake and I brought bisquits to be cooked on an open fire. They turned out awesome.
We also got to stay up and watch a meteor shower!
Beautiful!
Dax had a blast! Loved to be outside throwing dirt!
Can't wait for next year only 364 days away right?!?!
